About the role:  

In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of our state-of-the-art theatres. From setting up surgical equipment to maintaining a sterile environment, your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care. As a Theatre Technician, you'll be part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, working together to deliver high-quality surgical services. 

  • General and/or specialised cleaning of areas and equipment
  • Fetch and Carry Handling Tasks.
  • Setting up and operating of theatre equipment
  • Maintenance and checking of equipment.
  • Interpreting complex instructions and procedures.
  • Providing guidance and assistance within your area of expertise to other employees
  • Understanding and applying quality control techniques

About you:

You will bring a positive, patient-focused approach and the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 
An AQF Certificate III relevant to the position is required; However, this does not preclude you from submitting an application. Previous experience within an operating room environment would be advantageous, previous Healthcare experience would also be beneficial.

You will demonstrate strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise daily tasks and take pride in delivering safe, high-quality care aligned with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards. You will work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
