  • 7 day roster, required everyday of the year
  • Shifts between 6.30am and 10.30pm.

About the role

The Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and operational support within SA Pathology Customer Services. Responsible for a broad range of customer-facing activities, this position ensures excellence in professional interactions, including high-quality over-the-phone service and responsive support to internal and external stakeholders. You will oversee daily fleet coordination tasks, promoting the effective and efficient use of the courier fleet to maintain seamless service delivery.

Working closely with Supervisors, you will support the day-to-day operations of the Customer Services department, including contributing to weekend and public holiday coverage as required. The role also involves providing staff training and guidance, assisting with Consumer Products Support Services activities, and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability and service excellence across the department.

Your experience in customer service, fleet or courier operations, and staff support enables you to contribute positively to team performance and service excellence.

  • Customer Service & Communication – Highly developed interpersonal and telephone skills, with proven experience delivering courteous, professional service and handling high call volumes in client-focused environments.

  • Operational & Decision-Making Capability – Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, work with minimal supervision, apply sound judgement and make consistently accurate business decisions using multiple data sources.

  • Systems, Accuracy & Supervision Experience – Experience maintaining high levels of data and process accuracy, using Microsoft Office and database systems, and contributing to staff training and supervision.

  • Knowledge & Professional Standards – Understanding of fleet and courier operational issues, confidentiality and privacy principles, Quality Management principles, and knowledge of Equal Opportunity, WHS and public administration frameworks.
