Are you an Accredited Exercise Physiologist looking to make a meaningful impact in regional health? Limestone Coast Local Health Network is seeking a motivated and skilled Exercise Physiologist to join Country Health Connect, delivering high-quality, person-centred services across the region.

About the Role

The Exercise Physiologist (AHP2) applies clinical experience, specialist knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive exercise physiology services tailored to the needs of the local community.

Working under reduced clinical direction, you will manage a diverse caseload across community, outreach, home-based and tele-rehabilitation settings. You will contribute to prevention, early intervention, treatment and health promotion initiatives, supporting clients across the lifespan and across a range of clinical areas.

You may also contribute to supervision of junior staff, allied health assistants and students, while supporting service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based assessment, intervention and evaluation services across individual, group and population health settings
  • Manage and prioritise a complex caseload across community, acute, aged care, Aboriginal health and outreach services
  • Contribute to clinical leadership, supervision and professional development within the allied health team
  • Support service planning, quality improvement, research and evaluation activities to enhance regional service delivery

What You’ll Bring

  • Recognised qualification in Exercise Physiology and eligibility for accreditation with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with sound clinical judgement in a rural or community health setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
