About the Role
Use your clinical knowledge and experience to provide support services to Cancer Program Nurse Unit Managers, Level 3 Registered Nurses and Nursing Directors in nursing practice and services in areas including but not limited to staffing methodologies, recruitment and selection, human resource management, financial administration, patient flow, bed and resource management, accreditation and risk management processes and information systems management. Step into a Senior Nurse Manager role where your expertise shapes safe, high-quality care. You’ll manage complex services, build strong clinical partnerships and create systems that support people, flow and outcomes. This role offers real scope to influence culture, quality and service delivery across specialist programs and portfolios.

What you’ll do
Lead staffing, workforce planning and recruitment, with innovation and flexibility.

  • Provide management support to inpatient and outpatient Cancer Nursing Services through:
    • Manage budgets, resources, beds and patient flow
    • Drive quality, risk, accreditation and safety outcomes
    • Partner with senior nurses, clinicians and external agencies to lead and facilitate change management

About You
You’re a confident, creative and supportive nurse leader ready to step into a role where judgement, influence and quality matter. You bring strong clinical credibility, a collaborative style and the drive to improve services and culture.

• Registered Nurse with NMBA registration or eligibility
• Current or eligible practising certificate
• Leadership skill across communication, conflict and change, whilst promoting consumer engagement initiatives.
• Strong project delivery and workforce prioritisation skills to develop staff potential.
