Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service in a healthcare environment? We’re looking for dedicated Services Assistants to join our team at Wallaroo Hospital and Health Services. If you’re a team player who takes pride in providing efficient and high-quality service in catering, housekeeping, and laundry, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utility Services: Perform minor repairs, manage laundry services (washing, sorting, folding, ironing), and maintain cleanliness of carpets and windows.
  • Catering: Prepare meals, assist with client menu selections, plate and serve food, and handle food complaints with professionalism.
  • Material Management: Maintain and order stock, request equipment repairs, and monitor vending machine stock.
  • Health Unit Operations: Operate machinery as required, assist colleagues, and follow clear instructions to ensure smooth operations.

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in diverse settings.
  • Flexibility with work hours and rosters.
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping, catering, and laundry.
  • Familiarity with food safety, infection control, and occupational health standards.
