About the role

The Support Officer provides administrative and project support to the BloodSafe eLearning Australia Program, managing helpdesk enquiries, reporting, and website updates while assisting with data analysis, customer service, and evaluation activities to ensure smooth program delivery.

BloodSafe eLearning Australia develops evidence based on line education for health professionals on patient blood management and transfusion practice. BloodSafe eLearning Australia receives joint national funding provided by the National Blood Authority, on behalf of all Australian Governments, to enable free access for all learners. All courses are based on national published guidelines, evidence-based practice and expert opinion, and provide nationally consistent and current education for health professionals.

Key duties of the role

  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries, providing information and resolving issues.
  • Prepare accurate and professional email responses to Helpdesk enquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain helpdesk procedures.
  • Modify online evaluation survey questions and extracts and analyse data.
  • Monitor and update website content.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in providing project support services or undertaking minor projects.
  • Experience monitoring and updating web content.
  • Understanding of learning management systems.
  • Ability to show initiative to solve problems and possess a high level of organisational skills.
  • Ability to collate, and perform basic analysis on, statistical information and prepare reports.
