The position of Administration Assistant is responsible for supporting set outcomes and objectives within the Region through efficient and effective customer service including administrative support. Exercising initiative and judgement and responding to requests for administrative assistance. 

1 month training period requiring flexibility with location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain day-to-day office procedures, administrative functions and systems while managing financial processes including budget monitoring, invoice processing and monthly reporting
  • Provide high-level confidential administrative support to the Operations Manager and Country Management Team, including calendar management, meeting coordination and correspondence preparation
  • Manage electronic filing systems, records management and performance data collection while maintaining regional vehicle and equipment information databases
  • Handle all customer enquiries and stakeholder communications through multiple channels, ensuring professional, timely and confidential responses to staff, volunteers and the public
  • Coordinate project activities, conduct research and develop business plans while supporting the implementation of regional initiatives within agreed timeframes and budgets
  • Foster positive team culture based on SA Health values, contribute to continuous improvement processes and provide leadership through modelling desired workplace behaviours
