About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is now available for dedicated Registered Nurses to join the Rehabilitation Inpatient team within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. This role offers the chance to contribute to a service that plays a transformative part in patients’ recovery journeys, while working in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Rehabilitation nursing is a deeply rewarding specialty, providing clinicians with the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact on patients’ lives. As part of a committed multidisciplinary team, you will support individuals recovering from disabling injuries or illnesses, helping them navigate complex physical and emotional challenges with compassion and expertise.

Through personalised, goal‑driven care plans, rehabilitation nurses address the full spectrum of patient needs - physical, cognitive, emotional and social. This holistic approach enables patients to regain independence, rebuild confidence and move steadily toward greater autonomy. Your role will be central in guiding patients through these often demanding transitions, ensuring they feel supported, informed and empowered at every stage.

Rehabilitation nurses also play a vital role as educators, advocates and coordinators. By fostering collaboration, encouraging active participation in therapy and daily routines, and promoting a positive, forward‑focused mindset, you will help patients achieve their highest potential. This specialty offers the unique privilege of witnessing meaningful progress and celebrating milestones that truly change lives.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will bring a genuine passion for rehabilitation nursing and patient‑centred care. You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A positive, resilient and collaborative approach to supporting patients through recovery and commitment to continuous learning and professional development is essential in this role.
