About the role

As Nurse Unit Manager in Medical Imaging, you will play a pivotal leadership role within SA Medical Imaging, coordinating high-quality, patient-centred care in a dynamic and specialised environment. Using your expert clinical knowledge and people leadership skills, you will guide and support the nursing team to deliver safe, consistent and compassionate care aligned with the SA Health quality framework. This role blends hands-on clinical insight with strategic oversight, ensuring continuity of care and excellent patient outcomes.

Based at the Repatriation Health Precinct, you will lead, develop and inspire a multidisciplinary nursing team, fostering a positive, inclusive culture where learning and professional growth are encouraged. You will be accountable for nursing practice standards, resource management and team performance, working closely with senior medical imaging leaders and nursing colleagues across the network. About You

You are an experienced and inspiring nurse leader who thrives on supporting teams and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

  • Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate and 3+ years post-registration experience

  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills with proven team development ability

  • Experience in clinical supervision, change management, and improving models of care

  • Extensive knowledge of Medical Imaging nursing practice, standards, and contemporary healthcare issues
