About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is now available within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network for energetic and motivated Administration Officers to join our Outpatient Department. This role places you at the centre of a busy, people‑focused environment where your contribution directly supports the smooth delivery of care to our community.

As an Administrative Services Officer, you will play a key part in ensuring our Outpatients Department runs efficiently and professionally. Your day will involve a variety of tasks, including managing incoming and outgoing phone calls for appointment bookings, cancellations and rescheduling, and providing essential administrative support to clinical teams. You’ll prepare medical records for clinics, complete accurate data entry into patient databases, and greet patients with a warm, customer‑focused approach that sets the tone for their visit.

Your responsibilities will also support effective office operations - maintaining stationery supplies, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies. Throughout all tasks, you will handle patient information with the highest level of confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism.

Smooth communication is central to this role. You’ll draw on strong written and verbal skills, including confident telephone etiquette, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to keep the department functioning seamlessly.
