About the Role

Join our team at Riverland General Hospital as an Administration Officer and play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, confidential, and customer-focused administrative service to clients, staff, and visitors. What We're Looking For

Essential Criteria

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, using initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Well-developed organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative and clerical support, including high-level computer, data entry, and word processing skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, record-keeping systems, quality assurance practices, and relevant policies such as the Freedom of Information Act.

Desired Criteria

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in medical records, with a Medical Terminology Certificate highly regarded.
  • Understanding of health care principles, along with administrative experience in a health service environment.
  • Knowledge of Sunrise Production, Microsoft Office programs, safe work practices, and relevant government procedures and legislation.
