About the Role

Step into a dynamic Hepatology Fellow role where you’ll manage complex liver cases, build clinical expertise, and shape patient care. You’ll lead MDT discussions, support research, and create strong multidisciplinary connections across services.

Duties
• Attend liver, gastroenterology clinic and endoscopy lists
• Chair hepatocellular carcinoma MDT fortnightly
• Support hepatology research projects
• Assist registrars with complex liver cases
• Join on call and inpatient consult roster
• Supervise and teach junior medical staff
• Liaise with consultants, departments and referrers
• Deliver high quality, compassionate patient care

About You

You’re a motivated clinician ready to grow your hepatology career while delivering thoughtful, high quality care within a collaborative hospital team.

• MBBS or equivalent, eligible for AHPRA registration
• Strong clinical skills in hepatology and general medicine
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and teams
• Build respectful, collaborative working relationships
• Understand hospital systems, safety and care standards
