About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking driven and compassionate Registered or Clinical Nurses to join the highly skilled team within our Mental Health Emergency Department.

In this fast‑paced and highly specialised environment, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional, patient‑centred care. Drawing on your clinical knowledge and expertise, you will assess, plan, and provide comprehensive nursing interventions to individuals experiencing complex acute and emergency mental health conditions.

As you work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you’ll contribute to a supportive and collaborative environment that enables high‑quality, timely care. From triaging patients to administering treatments and coordinating with medical staff, you will be at the forefront of mental health emergency services within our community.

Appointment to the role will be at the RN1 or RN2C classification, dependent on the level of experience.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice.
