About the role

Join BreastScreen SA and play an important part in delivering high-quality breast screening services that support early detection and better health outcomes for women across South Australia. In this dual-classified role as a Radiographer (Breast Imaging) AHP2 or Mammography Technologist PO2, you’ll work across metropolitan screening clinics, combining technical expertise with compassionate, client-centred care.

  • Perform high-quality screening mammography in metropolitan clinics
  • Deliver safe, accurate imaging with a strong client-centred focus
  • Collaborate with radiographers and the multidisciplinary team
  • Apply professional judgement to resolve technical imaging challenges

About You

You are a compassionate and skilled imaging professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality mammography services while supporting clients through what can be a sensitive experience. Whether applying as a Radiographer (Breast Imaging) AHP2 or Mammography Technologist PO2, you bring strong technical capability, professionalism and a collaborative approach to care.

  • Eligible registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer (AHP2) or
  • Science degree with Graduate Diploma in Mammography (PO2)
  • Eligible for registration with the Medical Radiation Practice
  • Board of Australia and SA radiation licence
  • Experience in general radiography (AHP2) or clinical mammography (PO2)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support diverse clients
  • Ability to manage workload, meet screening targets and priorities
  • Commitment to quality assurance, privacy and multidisciplinary care
