Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN)

  • Ophthalmology Unit, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide CBD
  • MDP2 Salary $96,569 - $153,533 p.a.+ super + salary packaging
  • Multiple Full-Time, Temporary 12 Month roles available

Term of the Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement).  At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary.

About the Role
Join a dynamic Ophthalmology team and deliver high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings. You’ll manage day-to-day clinical work, support junior staff and contribute to teaching, research and quality outcomes in a collaborative environment.

  • Deliver day to day inpatient and outpatient care
  • Support and guide junior medical staff
  • Join after hours on call roster
  • Contribute to teaching and training programs
  • Drive audit, research and quality activities

About You
You bring clinical capability, leadership and a strong patient focus.

  • MBBS or equivalent with AHPRA registration
  • Show high standard of ophthalmology practice
  • Work well in multidisciplinary teams
  • Communicate clearly with patients and staff
  • Support teaching, supervision and quality care
