Are you passionate about making a difference in the local community and residents' lives? We’re looking for a dynamic Direct Care Worker to deliver exceptional care in our health unit.  You will play a key role in working directly with our residents to support their overall quality of life by ensuring safe standards of care are delivered and maintained at all times.  You will work with the team to ensure health and safety, continuous improvement, and fostering a positive, innovative workplace culture is maintained at all times.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care including personal care, mobility support, and assistance with daily living activities.  

  • Support client wellbeing and engagement by supporting therapy activities for individuals and groups.  

  • Monitor, report, and document client observations and care activities in line with policies and procedures.  

  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the service, including equipment use, teamwork, and supporting colleagues.  

  • Ensure that a safe & positive environment is maintained, by ensuring that safety comes first and continuous improvement practices are used to provide feedback and support residents.
