  • Salary  WHA-3  $1,196.36 - $1,208.80 per week (pro rata)+ super + salary packaging
  • Temporary up to 12 months and part-time

Two Part Time Positions Available (0.4FTE to 0.8FTE available). Both positions are 12mth contracts. Both positions will require the successful applicants to work on weekends (Saturday and Sundays) and the rosters will be set days. Additional FTE will be available across the contract duration to support ARL and unplanned leave from weekday staff throughout the year. Attractive penalty rates and pro rata extra ARL available.

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant Level 3, you help deliver high-quality food and beverage services. You manage stock, prepare special feeds, support patients’ nutritional needs, and work closely with dietetic and kitchen teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Duties
• Order and manage daily stock of specialised nutritional products 
• Prepare specialised fluids, thickened fluids, tube feeds, and oral nutrition support products
• Assist patients with preferences and intake of nutritional products
• Collaborate with dietitians, students, and kitchen staff
• Maintain accurate records and use basic computing for daily tasks

About You

You are a reliable and organised catering professional who enjoys supporting patients and teams to deliver high-quality food services.

• Speak, read and write English fluently and be numerate
• Work confidently in a fast-paced food service environment
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Use basic computing and record-keeping skills accurately
• Show initiative, dexterity, and commitment to quality service
