About the Role:

The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimising data pipelines and models that support the flow of patient and operational information across SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) systems.

The role centres on building scalable data integration processes, developing robust ingestion and transformation frameworks, and ensuring that clinical and operational datasets are structured and accessible for reporting, analytics, and compliance

While flexible working arrangements are supported, successful delivery of the outcomes associated with this role will require the selected candidate to attend the workplace in person a majority of the time.

About the Team:

The Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) is responsible for facilitating decision making support at SAAS through the provision of appropriate data and information to assist in the attainment of business improvements and strategic objectives.
