In this role, you’ll grow your expertise while supporting and mentoring others, taking pride in your professional accountability and commitment to excellence. 

As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager by coordinating quality and evaluation activities, leading portfolio areas, and supporting effective service operations. The role promotes continuity of care, assists with the implementation of practice changes, and contributes to key management functions including staffing, rostering, recruitment, performance management, and resource planning.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Provide person‑centred nursing/midwifery care and case management to achieve safe, effective patient outcomes.
  • Assess clients and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions within a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Support service delivery by assisting the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager with coordination, problem resolution, and change management.
  • Contribute to education by supporting students, new staff, and ongoing professional development.
  • Participate in research, audits, and evidence‑based practice to improve care quality.
  • Provide clinical leadership, promote continuity of care, and act as a resource within the team or unit.
