Overview:

The Senior Reporting Analyst/Developer is accountable to the Technical Manager, EMR Reporting Services for the provision of expert analysis, technical and advisory services in relation to the delivery of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Data and Reporting Solutions. EMR Reporting Services primary clients are clinical and administrative staff providing services at the health units and facilities of Local Health Networks where the Sunrise EMR & PAS application has been implemented.

Accountable to the Technical Manager, EMR Reporting Services for providing expert analysis, technical support and advisory services in delivering EMR data and reporting solutions for clinical and administrative staff across Local Health Networks using the Sunrise EMR & PAS system.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact).

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
  • May be required to work outside of normal business hours.
  • The incumbent may be required to travel or work across and/or be located at any of the Department of Health units/divisions as required.
  • A flexible approach to the taking of leave is required.
  • Some intrastate travel may be required.
