  • Location:  Telehealth position, CBD or to be negotiated 
  • Temporary, Part-Time Role - 45 hours per fortnight until March 2027 

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the RMCLHN pharmacy team as a telehealth pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services to all sites within the RMCLHN. This position allows flexibility to primarily work via a telehealth model. On occasions you will be required to work on site at one of the hospitals in the RMCLHN as part of the RMCLHN pharmacy team.

Flexibility re part-time work hours over multiple days can be considered. 

As a Senior Pharmacist, you will lead the organisation and delivery of high level pharmacy services within a designated clinical area, ensuring patients receive safe, effective and high quality medication management. Working with a high degree of professional autonomy, you will provide expert medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients, medical staff and multidisciplinary teams, helping optimise outcomes through safe and cost effective use of medicines.

You will also provide leadership to the pharmacy team, support service continuity and contribute to operational planning, policy development and quality improvement initiatives. In this collaborative role, you will mentor pharmacists, technicians and students, participate in professional development and work closely with colleagues across the service to ensure safe, consistent and patient centred pharmaceutical care.

About You

You are an experienced hospital pharmacist who brings strong clinical expertise, leadership capability and a passion for improving patient care.

• Bachelor of Pharmacy and AHPRA registration
• Extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice
• Proven leadership and ability to supervise staff
• Strong communication, analysis and problem solving skills
