About the role

The Administration Officer serves as first point of contact for front desk and phone enquiries, delivering professional, timely, and accurate customer service. The Administration Officer coordinates communication, directs enquiries appropriately, and builds positive relationships with staff and external service providers across the region.

Key duties of the role

  • Act as the ‘first point of contact’ for both front of counter and telephone customers.
  • Direct enquiries to appropriate staff and staff movements monitored.
  • Monitor correspondence including mail and ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Record client referral information.
  • Manage appointments efficiently by using initiative.

Skills and Experience

  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Maintain sensitivity, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Experience working in a frontline customer service position within a Health Service.
  • Experience maintaining general administrative processes.
  • Ability to multitask.
