About the Role

RN-1 We are seeking a committed and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care within our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide direct and comprehensive nursing services, including case management, education, counselling, and group work, to support the health and recovery of mental health consumers. Working within the framework of the National Mental Health Policy and SA Health’s values, you will contribute meaningfully to improving outcomes for individuals and communities.

As a developing professional, you will continue to build your knowledge and capability through experience and ongoing professional development. Guided by or working in collaboration with senior Mental Health Nurses, you will be supported in consolidating your practice and strengthening your clinical skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will engage with other healthcare professionals and non-governmental organisations to deliver holistic, recovery-oriented care.

RN-2 We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse (CN) to join our Mental Health Care Program (MHCP), delivering high-quality mental health nursing across a range of clinical settings. In this predominantly clinical role, you will provide expert care while supporting the development of less experienced staff and ensuring the safe delegation of tasks. With your consolidated experience and commitment to best practice, you'll play a key part in advancing patient outcomes and team capability.

As a valued member of our team, you may also take on portfolio responsibilities aligned with your professional development and MHCP priorities. Opportunities to contribute to clinical teaching, research, or broader initiatives—such as developing protocols, mapping clinical processes, or leading MHCP-wide projects—will support your growth as a proficient and impactful practitioner. If you are passionate about mental health nursing and ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
