Crystal Brook and District Hospital provides essential healthcare services to the community, delivering 24/7 accident and emergency care alongside a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, maternity, and aged care services. Services include:

Hospital Services

  • General medical and surgical care, including plastic surgery,
  • Same-day stays and short-term care
  • Inpatient and outpatient services and patient transport
  • Obstetrics and palliative care
  • Day therapy centres and Meals on Wheels
  • Parenting and family education programs
  • Personal and planned care for older people, including respite services

Maternity and Obstetrics

  • Birthing suite with shared care arrangements involving General Practitioners and midwifery group practice midwives
  • Antenatal education, childbirth and parenting classes
  • Postnatal community midwifery visits

Residential Aged Care

  • Residential aged care at the hospital and Southern Flinders Health
  • High-level care and respite options for older people
