WHERE YOU'LL BE AND WHAT YOU'LL DO

Jamestown is a historic town in South Australia’s Mid North, located 220 kilometres north of Adelaide. Set along the banks of Belalie Creek and positioned on the Crystal Brook–Broken Hill railway line, Jamestown is a key regional hub connecting Adelaide and Perth with Sydney via the main interstate rail network.

Surrounded by a productive agricultural region known for grain, legumes, wool, and timber, Jamestown has a proud history of innovation. The town is home to Bundaleer Forest, the world’s first plantation forest established in 1876, symbolising Jamestown’s pioneering role in sustainable forestry. Today, the town blends its rich heritage with modern progress, supported by agriculture and emerging energy projects that continue to drive regional growth.
