Kara House is a 25-bed Residential Aged Care Facility, located in a separate building on the grounds of Clare Hospital. The facility is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Direct Care Workers, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

Working in this environment, it is important to use that we employ people with the utmost integrity and commitment to provide a service to the highest possible standard to all visitors.  To ensure that we meet that commitment there are a few checks that you will be required to undertake.  These are detailed on the Role Description, but are likely to include:

  • Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Undergo employment screening and meet immunisation requirements.
