About the Role

As a Facilities Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery and oversight of building projects and facilities works across SA Pathology sites. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will coordinate project activities, provide practical advice to managers and staff, and help ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

You will also support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance programs, acting as a key point of contact for the Across Government Facilities Management Agreement (AGFMA). In this role, you will liaise with contractors and trades across multiple disciplines, monitor work quality and timelines, and provide expert advice on building maintenance, project planning and Work Health and Safety matters.

About You

You are a skilled facilities professional with a strong trade background and the ability to coordinate building and maintenance works in complex operational environments.

• Trade qualification in a relevant discipline
• Experience coordinating building or facilities projects
• Strong knowledge of WHS, building codes and standards
• Skilled in stakeholder liaison, reporting and problem solving
