About the Role:
The brand new Playford Satellite Dialysis Unit, part of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing service dedicated to delivering exceptional care closer to home. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality renal care whilst building trusted and meaningful relationships with patients through ongoing dialysis treatment, supporting them to maintain their health, independence and quality of life in their local community.
As a Clinical or Registered Nurse within the Lyell McEwin Health Service's satellite dialysis program, you'll work alongside a committed multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centred haemodialysis care. Multiple ongoing full-time positions are available. Key responsibilities include:
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering safe, patient-centred haemodialysis treatment across multiple chairs in a satellite dialysis setting
- Monitoring patients throughout treatment, recognising and responding to complications with clinical confidence
- Collaborating with nephrologists, allied health professionals and the broader NALHN renal team to support individualised care plans
- Contributing to a culture of continuous quality improvement within the unit
What You'll Bring
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in haemodialysis, renal nursing, or a related acute or chronic care specialty
- Demonstrated ability to manage patient deterioration and respond effectively in a dialysis environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to culturally safe and person-centred care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while exercising sound independent clinical judgement

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Lyell McEwin Hospital – the major hospital in northern Adelaide for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetric, paediatrics and outpatient services.
Modbury Hospital – a general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.
Mental Health Services – adult and older persons mental health services and statewide forensic mental health services, across hospital and community settings.
Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Primary Health Care Services – provides culturally responsive primary healthcare services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in-hospital and across four community sites.
Primary Health Care Services – including GP Plus sites at Elizabeth, Modbury and Gilles Plains.
