About the Role:

The brand new Playford Satellite Dialysis Unit, part of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing service dedicated to delivering exceptional care closer to home. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality renal care whilst building trusted and meaningful relationships with patients through ongoing dialysis treatment, supporting them to maintain their health, independence and quality of life in their local community.

As an Enrolled Nurse within the Lyell McEwin Health Service's satellite dialysis program, you'll work alongside a committed multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centred haemodialysis care. Multiple ongoing full-time positions are available. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and monitoring haemodialysis treatment under the direction of Registered Nurses
  • Observing and responding to patient condition changes throughout dialysis sessions
  • Supporting patients in managing their chronic kidney disease journey with compassion and consistency
  • Contributing to a culture of clinical safety, documentation accuracy, and team communication

What You'll Bring

  • Current AHPRA enrolment as an Enrolled Nurse (with no notation restricting medication administration)
  • Experience or genuine interest in renal, chronic disease, or high-dependency care settings
  • Sound understanding of infection control and safe clinical practice standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with patients attending for regular, long-term treatment
  • Commitment to SA Health's values of care, excellence, integrity, and collaboration
  • Ability to work across rotating rosters in a satellite community-based setting

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
