About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking Nurses to join our team at James Nash House within the Forensic Mental Health Service. The Forensic Mental Health Service is a state-wide specialised service which provides assessment, treatment and care services to meet the needs of mental health consumers in the justice system, either forensic consumers placed by the SA court system or prisoners transferred from the Department of Correctional Services.

As a nurse within our service, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to individuals with complex mental health needs within a secure forensic setting. Your compassion, clinical expertise and commitment to patient-centred care will be instrumental in supporting their recovery journey.

To be eligible for this position as an Enrolled Nurse, you must be registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. In order to administer medicines, must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.

To be eligible for this position as a Registered or Clinical Nurse, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice.
