  • Anaesthesia Unit across the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide CBD + Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woodville South
  • MDP2 Salary $96,569 - $153,533 p.a. + super + salary packaging
  • Full-time contracts can be offered for 12 months/up to 3 years commencing 03/08/2026

Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement

A 3-year CALHN contract will be issued, with an initial 12 month placement in the anaesthetic department at either RAH or TQEH. Movement between sites may occur for one or both of the subsequent 2 years of the contract, subject to satisfactory performance, training requirements and department needs at each site.

About the Role
Join a supportive anaesthesia team and deliver safe, patient-centred care across major tertiary hospitals. You’ll manage perioperative care, support clinical teaching and help shape quality outcomes, working closely with Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health.

• Manage perioperative care across anaesthesia services
• Collaborate with Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health
• Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
• Support teaching and supervise junior staff
• Drive quality improvement and clinical standards

About You
You bring clinical capability, teamwork and a focus on safe, high-quality care.

• Eligible for Medical Board of Australia registration
• Anaesthesia experience and ANZCA pathway progress
• Apply clinical standards and guide care decisions
• Communicate clearly with diverse patients and teams
• Work well in multidisciplinary environments
