About the Role
Join our Sterilising Services team and help keep clinical areas safe and ready for patient care. In this hands-on role, you manage sterile stock, maintain accurate records and ensure wards receive the equipment they need. Work independently and as part of a supportive team to deliver reliable sterilisation services across the hospital.
• Supply sterile stock and equipment to wards and departments
• Maintain accurate sterilisation records and tracking systems
• Check, prepare and distribute sterile equipment
• Review work methods and support efficient workflow
• Receive and dispatch sterile goods for booked and ad hoc requests
• Respond to enquiries and escalate issues where required
• Work collaboratively with the CSSD team to maintain service standards

 

About You
You bring a positive approach, attention to detail and a commitment to safe, high quality sterilising services. Whether you are developing your skills or already qualified, you communicate well, work collaboratively and adapt in a busy healthcare environment.

• AQF Certificate III in Sterilising Services or willingness to work towards it
• Knowledge of sterilising, infection control and safety practice
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Work well in a team and adapt to change
• Ability to learn new techniques and apply them effectively
