This is a talent pool for regional SA pathology collectors (phlebotomist positions).

About the role

Join our regional SA talent pool as a Pathology Collector and play an important role in supporting local healthcare services. In this hands-on role, you assist with specimen collection, transport, sorting and labelling, helping ensure accurate and timely results for patients across regional communities.

At the OPS1 level, you will receive training and supervision to build your skills and confidence. At the OPS2 level, you will apply your experience more independently while continuing to deliver high quality service. Across both levels, you will provide excellent customer service and work closely with clinicians and laboratory teams to support safe and efficient pathology services.

You are caring, reliable and committed to providing excellent service in a healthcare setting. You communicate with empathy, use sound judgement and support patients and teams with professionalism and care.

• Strong customer service skills with empathy and care
• Ability to identify issues and escalate when needed
• Experience with information systems and databases
• Confident handling enquiries and supporting patients
