About the role

The Administration Officer provides confidential, compassionate, and efficient reception and administrative support to Yarrow Place. The Administration Officer, manage calls and appointments, maintains service diaries, and ensures courteous communication with staff, visitors, and clients.

Key duties of the role

  • Confidential, and empathetic triage of clients both face-to-face and over the telephone.
  • Incoming and outgoing phone calls are appropriately triaged and coordinated for staff and clients.
  • Arrange appointments and maintain service diaries.
  • Record client’s details and relevant statistical information onto computerised systems.
  • Assist in preparing documents and correspondence.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office software, in particular Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in providing a confidential reception and administrative support service.
  • Experience in minute-taking.
  • Ability to communicate with all clients of the service and to provide an empathic response.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality provisions.
