About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide specialised nursing care and manage a defined caseload of clients requiring stoma and complex wound management across a variety of healthcare settings.

You will act as a clinical resource and leader, supporting best practice, mentoring staff and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care that meets the needs of consumers and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to community clients
  • Provide expert stoma and wound care management
  • Undertake comprehensive assessment, care planning and case management
  • Support and mentor less experienced staff and students
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to education, quality improvement and evidence-based practice
  • Promote positive health outcomes and independence for consumers

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate nurse who is committed to community care.

You will bring:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Experience in stoma therapy and/or complex wound care
  • A genuine passion for community health and supporting consumers
  • Highly developed communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to culturally safe care, including engagement with Aboriginal communities
