Term of the Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement).  At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary

About the Role

Step into a pivotal anaesthesia training role and deliver high-quality care across a leading tertiary service. You’ll manage perioperative care, build advanced capability and support teaching, while working closely with Consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

• Deliver perioperative care across anaesthesia services
• Collaborate with Consultants and care teams
• Support teaching and guide junior staff
• Drive quality improvement and clinical standardsContribute to safe, patient centred outcomes

About You

We’re seeking a motivated and collaborative Anaesthetist who brings a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

• Eligible for Medical Board of Australia registration
• ANZCA Fellowship exam complete or equivalent
• Strong anaesthesia experience and clinical judgement
• Communicate clearly across multidisciplinary teams
• Commit to learning, teaching and quality care
