About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking passionate and dedicated Midwives and Clinical Midwives to join our Women’s Health Unit and make a meaningful difference at every stage of a woman’s maternity journey.

In this role, you will deliver evidence‑based maternity care across pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, supporting women and their families through some of life’s most significant moments. Your clinical expertise, calm presence and advocacy for women will help create safe, empowering and positive birth experiences.

You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values professional expertise, shared decision‑making and continuous improvement. Within this supportive environment, you will be encouraged to contribute to best‑practice maternity care while developing your skills and growing your career in women’s health.

Appointment to the role will be at the MW1 or MW2C classification, dependent on the level of experience.

To be eligible for this position, you must be:

• registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, OR
• registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
