About the role

Lead a state-wide paediatric cochlear implant speech pathology service. Manage specialist clinical delivery, staff capability and service quality. Work across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Maintain a complex caseload. Report to the Manager, Speech Pathology.

Key duties of the role

• Lead delivery of specialist paediatric cochlear implant and related clinical services
• Manage complex caseloads, referrals and prioritisation of clinical care
• Supervise, mentor and build capability of speech pathology staff and assistants
• Develop, review and implement clinical protocols, guidelines and competencies
• Drive quality, safety, research and continuous service improvement initiatives

Skills and Experience

• Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia
• Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years experience in specialist paediatric clinical services
• Demonstrated experience managing complex caseloads and multidisciplinary care
• Proven leadership in clinical supervision, service development and quality improvement
