Living and Working in the Flinders and Upper North Region - Port Augusta

 

About the Role:

As a Ward Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-quality, confidential administrative, customer service and data entry support to clients, staff and visitors. Reporting to the Clinical Services Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate patient records, supporting admissions and discharges, and ensuring compliance with medical record standards and relevant guidelines.

In this role, you will manage enquiries, coordinate appointments, prepare correspondence and meeting documentation, and support day-to-day administrative functions. You will also contribute to quality improvement activities, maintain efficient record systems, and promote a positive, safe and professional work environment.

 

About You:

  • You must have a high level of competency in the use of computers, word processing and office administration processes and
    procedures.
  • You must have sound word processing and data entry skills.
  • You must have experience in providing administrative & clerical support services.
  • You must have developing spreadsheets, using the Microsoft Excel application.

Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category B (indirect contact with blood or body substances)
