Overview:

  • The Senior Specialist Analyst Programmer is accountable to the Senior Digital Solutions Manager (Build Assurance) for leading and delivering specialist analysis, technical and advisory services in relation to the delivery of CIS Services to satisfy Local Health Networks and Hospital Operational Requirements. CIS primary clients are clinical and administrative staff providing services at the health units and facilities of Local Health Networks where CIS application has been implemented.
  • The role leads and undertakes the analysis, development and planning of complex and business critical custom development solutions that enhance the usability and safety of SA Health’s enterprise-wide CIS.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • May be required to work outside of normal business hours.
  • The incumbent may be required to travel or work across and/or be located at any of the Department of Health units/divisions as required.
  • Some intrastate travel may be required.
