About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Nurse Consultant to join our Division of Medicine, specialising in the care of individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. This is a unique opportunity to contribute specialist expertise within a role that has a direct and lasting impact on patient outcomes, service development and staff capability.

In this pivotal position, you will provide expert clinical leadership, advanced nursing care and tailored education to patients with Parkinson’s disease and their families across the care continuum. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will focus on delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care while supporting service innovation, clinical excellence and best‑practice standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • assessing, planning and evaluating complex nursing care
  • acting as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff
  • promoting evidence‑based practice throughout the service
  • designing and delivering education programs for patients, carers and healthcare professionals
  • contributing to quality improvement initiatives

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
