About the Role

Join the CO-ACT team and step into a key leadership role in older persons care. You will support the NUM, lead daily care delivery, build team capability and maintain safe, high quality, person centred practice.

What you’ll do:

  • Support NUM to lead ward or service
  • Deliver and oversee safe patient care
  • Guide, coach and support nursing staff
  • Promote consistent, person centred care
  • Implement practice change and improve care
  • Manage roster, staffing and work allocation
  • Support recruitment, performance and leave
  • Monitor resources, stock and service needs

About You

You’re a confident and inspiring nurse leader who brings energy, sound judgement and a passion for quality care and team growth.

  • Registered Nurse with NMBA registration
  • Hold or eligible for current practising certificate
  • Experience in care delivery and team leadership
  • Support, guide and grow ENs, AINs and students
  • Apply standards, quality systems and safe practice
