Work type: Full time
Location: Adelaide Metro Northern
Categories: Community and Social Services, Child, Aged and Disability Care, Mental Health, Support Services

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Community Rehabilitation Worker, where your work directly supports recovery, independence and meaningful community living.

Based at the Wondakka Community Rehabilitation Centre (CRC), you’ll be part of a service that delivers recovery‑oriented treatment, therapy and education programs for consumers, families and carers throughout a consumer’s admission. Every program is tailored, ensuring rehabilitation aligns with each individual’s goals, strengths and aspirations.

To deliver holistic care, Wondakka CRC works in close partnership with community mental health services, non‑government organisations and local support networks. Consumers engage voluntarily, allowing you to support recovery in a respectful, person‑centred environment focused on empowerment and choice.

In this role, you’ll provide practical, non‑clinical psychosocial rehabilitation supports alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team. Your work will help consumers build skills, confidence and stability, supporting smooth transitions back into community life while promoting long‑term recovery in the least restrictive settings possible.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine commitment to recovery‑oriented practice, and a passion for supporting people through complex mental health journeys.

Apply now and join our team of dedicated professionals who are transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.
