Join our Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit as a Clinical Nurse!

Step into a rewarding and dynamic role as a Clinical Nurse in our Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit, where you’ll make a real difference in people’s recovery journeys every day. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while working collaboratively with consumers, carers, and a supportive multidisciplinary team to develop tailored rehabilitation plans that promote independence and community connection.

In this role, you won’t just provide exceptional clinical care—you’ll also lead and inspire. As a clinical expert, you’ll mentor and support less experienced staff, helping to build capability and confidence across the team. You’ll take ownership of your practice, contribute to service improvement through education and quality initiatives, and play an active role in shaping care delivery within the unit.

If you’re looking to grow your career, expand your leadership skills, and be part of a team that genuinely values recovery-focused practice, this is your chance to thrive in a role that’s both impactful and professionally fulfilling.

About you:

  • Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and holding (or eligible to hold) a current practising certificate, with demonstrated commitment to mental health through enrolment in an approved Mental Health course or possession of a recognised qualification in Mental Health Practice.
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritise workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and approach clinical challenges with creativity, innovation and flexibility.
  • Proven effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
