WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? 

The Contract Management Support Officer provides essential administrative support to the Contracts Management Team, ensuring procurement and contract activities are efficiently coordinated and accurately maintained. The role supports the full contract lifecycle by managing data within key systems, assisting with reporting, and helping ensure contracts deliver value for money, meet required outcomes, and are effectively monitored across Rural Support Service and regional LHNs. 

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a degree of autonomy. The role also contributes to procurement coordination, supports system users, and assists in developing reports that inform decision-making and contract performance. 

 

WHO ARE WE? 

The RSS is a business unit in SA Health and provides services throughout regional South Australia to support the six regional local health networks (LHNs). It employs around 260 people who work in 37 regional, rural and remote SA locations, or in the RSS's three Adelaide offices.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Support the coordination and management of contracts and procurement activities, including drafting acquisition plans, service agreements, and risk/probity documentation.  

  • Maintain accurate contract and procurement records across multiple systems (e.g. PCMS, PARS, Oracle, Objective) and monitor key milestones and deliverables.  

  • Provide high-level administrative support, including preparing reports, briefs, and correspondence for senior stakeholders.  

  • Liaise with internal teams and external organisations to facilitate effective contract management and service delivery outcomes.  

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system support, and strategic objectives, including user support, training needs identification, and participation in organisational priorities.
