About the Role

Join the Nursing Administration Casual Pool at Port Lincoln Hospital and play a vital role supporting nursing teams and patient care. In this dynamic position, you will provide frontline administrative and reception support within the Nursing Department, helping ensure smooth coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and records.

We offer a flexible casual opportunity within a supportive hospital environment, where your work contributes directly to patient flow, staff efficiency, and quality care. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, gaining exposure across multiple departments while building valuable healthcare administration experience.

This is a 12-month casual pool, open until 1 April 2027. Shortlisting and interviews will occur throughout this period, so we encourage you to apply early.

How Will You Contribute?

  • Provide reception and administrative support to nursing staff and hospital units
  • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and maintain accurate records and data systems
  • Liaise with clinical teams and external services to support patient flow and care continuity
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of administrative processes
