About the Role:
An exciting opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist to join the growing Northern Adelaide Geriatrics Service within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. This expanding service is driven by a commitment to best-practice care that champions consumer choice, respects individuality, and supports people to age with dignity and independence.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality assessment and intervention services to optimise health and functional outcomes for our consumers.
Building on your clinical expertise, you will plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive, integrated occupational therapy services tailored to individual client needs. Working under limited direct supervision, you’ll apply sound clinical reasoning while continuing to grow your professional competence. You may also provide guidance and support to less experienced therapists, allied health assistants and students, contributing to a strong culture of learning and excellence.
Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, as well as community agencies, to ensure seamless, coordinated care across the continuum.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
