Working as a trainee within the Division of Surgery and Perioperative Medicine at Flinders Medical Centre will be a thrilling and rewarding experience. About the role: 

As the Trainee Administration Services Officer, you will work closely with staff in the business unit to provide administration services whilst completing a Nationally Recognised Qualification. As the Administrative Trainee, some of your duties may involve: 

  • Assisting with Administrative duties as required in line with skill level. 
  • Assisting with the ordering of supplies for the business unit  as directed. 
  • Contributing to a welcome environment. 
  • Handling patient enquiries, both face to face and over the phone.

About you:

  • Display a customer service focus. 
  • Ability to accurately within set timeframes and be responsive to change. 
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy of work. 
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet agreed timelines. 
  • Have effective communication skills and be able to communicate clearly with a wide range of people. 
  • Have excellent timekeeping, including being on-time for work, for meetings, appointments and training sessions. 
  • Willingness and commitment to personal development through education and training.
