Transform Lives as Director Outpatient Services - Drug & Alcohol Leadership Role

The Director Outpatient Services provides strategic and operational leadership, governance, and direction for a range of clinical service staff within DASSA's Outpatient Services. The focus of the role is on the development and implementation of frameworks and systems within which employees practice, and on monitoring and evaluating clinical practice and service delivery standards. The role will report to the State-wide Clinical Director. The role balances and integrates strategic and operational perspectives within a specified span of appointment.

About you:

  • Effective leadership skills, including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation
  • Experience in leading services or organisations through times of extensive change
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 5 years post-registration experience
  • Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads
  • Experience in applying contemporary management processes and practices in a health care setting
