About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Geriatric Outreach Service (GOS), based in Port Lincoln, delivering services across the Eyre and Far North region.

In this clinical leadership role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Geriatricians, Nurse Practitioners and nursing staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older people in the community. You will apply advanced clinical expertise to manage complex cases, provide consultancy and contribute to improved patient outcomes—supporting safe ageing, hospital avoidance, and enhanced quality of life.

You will play a key role in shaping and strengthening Occupational Therapy services within the GOS, contributing to service development, research, and quality improvement initiatives. The role also provides opportunities to lead, mentor and clinically supervise staff and students, while contributing to workforce development across the region.

Contract Details

This is a temporary part time vacancy working 30 hours per fortnight up to 22 November 2026 and then 15 hours per fortnight from 23 November 2026 until 29 June 2029
